As if BC couldn’t get any more Christmassy, the 20th December just got even more exciting. For those who do not wish to embrace Christmas yet, tough luck.
Very quick recap – Thanks to all 6 members of staff for giving up their time decorating the entire office last Friday after work with some fantastic festive decs!
BC Festive Bake Off:
The competition is fierce and we’re not even half way through yet! We’ve had some amazing efforts so far as you can see our winners of each day in the pictures. Although various members of staff have raised issues with the judging being controversial, the bake off is
being thoroughly enjoyed by all 18 staff involved and also people who didn’t take part having a slice of the action. When Round 1 is decided, we move on to Round 2 which will be a savoury bake. This starts as of next Tuesday. We are also raising money for St Peter St James Hospice whilst doing all of this, going to a great cause.
We then have the final at 12pm on the 20th…. We will be having a local baking legend popping in to the office to judge. The baking master is a top expert in all areas of baking & cooking, so those who make it to the final will need to be prepared.
Oh… no… I don’t mean Mary Berry. One of our nans was going to pop by for some tea and treats!
It is also Secret Santa that day. Staff have a £10 limit, and are challenged to keep hush until handing over the presents! We have also brought a Santa’s outfit for someone to wear on this big day.
So, the final thing for the 20th December we have to look forward to will be…Drumroll please…. Christmas Jumper Day!!!!
Super exciting hey. We do love a Christmas Jumper here at BC. Basically, we’ll be wearing our Christmas jumpers, and possibly even Christmas hats if we fancy it. Again, we’ll be raising some money for St Peter & St James Hospice.
That’s all for now!
